To Contrast the Low Frequency Electric Point Stimulation with Huperzine in the Treatment of Memory and Lognitive Obstacle after the Brain Traumatism

ZHU Baoping,ZHU Yuhuan.The first People’s Hospital of Xuzhou,Jiangsu Province 221002
Objective:To compare the effectiveness of low frequency electric point stimulation with huperzine in the treatment of memory and cognitive obstacle after the brain traumatism. Methods:The patients with pronounced memory and cognitive obstacle after brain traumatism in the hospital were chosen and divided into two groups randomly (I,huperzine;II,low frequency electric point stimulation).Group I took huperzineorally, and group II were treated by low frequeney electric point stimulntion on the location where cerebral cortex participating in memory and cognition was throwing on the head. The longest treatment course was 52 days, the shortest was 27 days and the average was 28.5 days, then compared the effectiveness and MQ,MMSE,FAQ before and after the treatment. Results:The Memory and cognitive obstacle of the two groups improved markedly after therapy. The overall effective rate of group I(96%)was slightly higher than that of group II(94%).The score of MQ and MMSE improved obviously and FAQ reduced.Examined by t,there was no significant difference between group I and II(P0.05).Conclusion: Low frequency electric point stimulation combines the loaction both low flequency electricity and points, and improves the memory and cognitive obstacle after brain traumatism as well as huperzine.
