The Clinical Significance of the Expression of PD-ECGFmRNA in Esophageal Carcinoma

WANG lixu, WEI Chunyong, MA Chengfang, et al. Department of Cardio and Thoracic, The Central hospital of Longgang, Shenzhen,Guangdong Province 518116
Objective: To examine the expression of platelet-derived endothelial cell growth factor (PD-ECGF) mRNA in esophageal carcinoma and analyse the relationship between the expression of PD-ECGF and the invasion of the carcinoma. Methods:The level of mRNA expression was examined by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).Results: There was significant difference between normality and esophageal carcinoma tissue in expression of PD-ECG FmRNA.The mRNA level of PD-ECGF in adenocarcinomas was 2.36 times as high as that of squamas carcinomas(t=2.12,P0.05). The level of PD-ECGF in grade 3 carcinoma was 2.56 times as high as that of Grade 1~2(t=3.18,P0.05).There was no correlation between the level of PD-ECGF and PTNM. Conclusion: There is positively correlation among the level of PD-ECGF and the kind of cell of tumors and the grade of carcinoma. The clinical therapy should be made respectively.
