ZHAO Jingping.Department of Respiratory Medicine, the Hospital of Dali Prefecture,Yunnan Province 671000
Objective:To observe the clinical effect and toxicity-side effects of pleural cavity perfusion with a combination of cisplatin and interleukin-2 in the treatment of lung cancer complicated with malignant pleural effusion(MPE).Methods:124 cases of lung cancer complicated with malignant plural effusion were randomly divided into treated group and controlled group. The treated group of 63 cases received pleural cavity perfusion with a combination of cisplatin and interleukin-2,while the controlled group of 61 cases received pleural cavity perfusion with cisplatin only. Both groups received the treatment once a week for three weeks to judge the clinical effect. Results:The treated group:CR25,PR30,SD5,PD3,the effective rate was 87.30%.The controlled group:CR12,PR22,SD4,PD23,the effective rate was 55.74%.There was statistical significance in these two groups(χ2=21.27,P0.01).The main toxicity-side effects were thoracic pain, fever, nausea, vomiting and myelosuppression of Ⅰ~Ⅱ degree. Conclusion:It was effective to use pleural cavity perfusion with a combination of cisplatin and interleukin-2 in the treatment of lung cancer complicated with malignant pleural effusion, prior to the cisplatin only. And the toxicity-side effects were minor.
