The Value of Two-dimensional Ultrasound and Color Doppler Flow Imaging in Diagnosis of Varicocele

ZHU Xuefeng.Department of Ultrasound, the First People's Hospital of Wujiang City, the Affiliated Wujiang Hospital of Nantong University,Jiangsu Province 215200
Objective:To investigate the value of two-dimensional ultrasound and color doppler flow imaging(CDFI) in varicocele(VC).Methods:In 34(32 in left,2 double) VC patients(the clinical group),they all identified by operation, and 25 normal spermatic vein(the contrast group),significant data of their spermatic vein diameter and time of reverse were recorded and analyzed with statistics. Results:There are significant differences in both blood-vessel diameter and time of reverse between the clinical and the contrast(P0.05).However,there were no significant differences in velocity between the two groups(P0.05).Compared with the results of operation,CDFI diagnosis accuracy was 100%.Conclusion:Two-dimensional ultrasound and CDFI as a safe and noninvasive examinational method can diagnosis VC to a nicety and forepart. It provided important information in clinical treatment.
