62 Cases of Premature and Related Risk Factors Analysis

Objective:To investigate and analysis risk factors related to premature birth.Methods:62 cases of preterm patients in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed,and compared with 62 cases over the same period in term birth.Results:In preterm group,the average age was(27.4±5.9) years with body mass index(17.9±4.6) and abortion(1.9±0.8) times.The proportion of bad living habits was 24.2%,and regularly prenatal examination rate was 16.1%.The differences of above indicates were statistically significant(P0.05) as compared with the control group.39 cases was natural premature birth(62.9%),and of which,30 cases(48.4%) were caused by rupture of membranes;for 23 cases(37.1%) of artificial premature delivery,the mainly causes were placental factors,pregnancy complications,multiple births and breech.Conclusion:Maternal age,body mass index,history of abortion,prenatal care and poor living habits were risk factors lead to premature delivery,which should be protect pre-pregnancy and during pregnancy.
