Clinical Observation of Irondeficiency Anemia in Pregnancy

In order to study clinical irondeficiency anemia, we randomly selected 104 cases of gravida from different gestational age learly 33 cases, middle 37 cases,late 34 cases) and 25 cases of nonpregnant women (served as control), and measured their blood Hb,RBC、serum total iron and serum calcium. The results showed that values of Hb, RBC in gravida was signficantly lower than in control (P0.01), and valves of Hb, RBC in late gestation was sigllificantly lower than in early and middle gestation (P0. 01). The values of serum total iron in gravida was significantly lower than in control (P0.01),at the same calcium values was no significantly difference. It was conclued that nonpregnant and pregnant women all sufferedfrom irondeficiency anemia in some degeree, and women in late gestation were more serious than those in early and middle gestation.
