Research on AD HOC and IOT techniques-based management comprehensive system for medical devices

Objective: For the disadvantages of the electronic information in the conventional medical equipment management system, we design a improved medical equipment monitoring and management system based on the Ad Hoc and Internet of Things(Io T) techniques, which is capable of monitoring and recording the operation conditions of the medical equipment in a hospital. Methods: The Ad Hoc and the cloud computing techniques are introduced, which can make the modules of the management system linked each other. Meanwhile, we provide more manual and device status information. Results: The designed system can effectively monitor all the medical equipments, and it is easy for equipment health check, equipment maintenance and repair, which can significantly facilitate the use of the medical devices. Conclusion: The maturity, reliability and validity of the developed system are evaluated using practical deployment, which largely increase the system function and improved the work efficiency.
