Relationship Between Genetic Polymorphism of N-acetyltransferase 2 and Genetic Susceptibility to Disease

Pathogenesis of many diseases is connected with influence of environmental factors and individual genetic sensitivity to detoxification enzymes.Mutations of N-acetyltransferase 2 lead to decreased enzyme function.In this review,correlation between the polymorphic N-acetyltransferase-2 and Genetic susceptibility to cancer,Parkinson′disease and Alzheimer′s disease is summarized.
