Recognition of Impaired Glucose Regulation and the Relationship between It and Inflammation

YANG Hao,YANG Gang-yi.(Department of Endocrinology,The Second Affiliated Hospital,Chongqing Medical University,Chongqing 400010,China)
Impaired glucose regulation is a kind of abnormal metabolism state between normal plasma glucose and diabetes mellitus. The inflammatory factors which can cause insulin resistance and apoptosis of islet beta cell are significantly increased in the serum of subjects with impaired glucose regulation. The drugs which can lower inflammatory factors level in serum and relieve insulin resistance will obviously influence the turnover of impaired glucose regulation.
