Lymphangion Genesis and Thyroid Cancer Metastasis

Lymphatic metastasis is a crucial step in the progress of cancer,lymph node metastasis in tumor is closedly related to the expression of vascular endothelial growth factors and lymphagion genesis.Thyroid carcinoma frequently metastasizes to regional lymph nodes.Recent studies have shown that vascular endothelial growth factors play a predominant role in inducing lymphagion genesis and lymphatic metastasis in thyroid cancar.This report summaries the research of vascular endothelial growth factors and their receptors in lymphatic metastasis thyroid carcinoma.
