COX-2 and PAI-1 is related to cerebral ischemia and anoxia,in which COX2 may participating in the injury mechanism,otherwise,PAI-1 may play its helpful effect as a kind of protective factor.Their effects on nerve cell and their relationship with TGF-β/Smad signal transduction will provide a new direction for the further study and therapy of cerebral infarction resulting from ischemia.
