Study on Analgesic Effect of Callicarpa Formosana Extracts

Objective To observe the analgesic effect of Callicarpa formosana extracts.Methods The inhibition rate of body twist and the increment percentage of pain threshold in different Callicarpa formosana extracted parts were observed by the hot-board method and the writhing assay in mice.Results The inhibition rate of body twist and the increment percentage of pain threshold of ethyl acetate and butanol extracts were significantly improved compared with the blank control group.Conclusion The main parts of analgesic effect of Callicarpa formosana extracts are concentrated on the parts of ethyl acetate and butanol extracts.
