Content Determination of Dehydrocavidine in Different Parts of Corydalis Tomentella by HPLC

Objective To establish an HPLC method for content determination of dehydrocavidine in Corydalis tomentella,and analyze the different parts of Corydalis tomentella in order to provide evidences for setting quality standards for Corydalis tomentella. Methods The Agilent C18 column( 250 mm × 4. 6 mm,5 μm) was adopted,the mobile phase was phosphate buffered saline solution( 1 L solution contained20 mmol monopotassium phosphate,10 mmol diethylamine,0. 1% phosphoric acid)-acetonitrile( 72 ∶ 28),the flow rate was 1. 0 m L/min,the column temperature was 35 ℃,and the detection wavelength was 347 nm. Results The linear ranges of dehydrocavidine was within0. 040 08-2. 404 80 μg( r = 0. 999 1, n = 7). The average recovery was 97. 71%, RSD was 1. 78%( n = 9). The roots had the highest content among different parts of Corydalis tomentella. Conclusion The method is rapid and accurate,which can be used for the quality control of analogous alkaloids in Corydalis tomentella.
