A Study on “X+VP+CM+Y” Sentences in Ming and Qing Spoken Language Literature with Shandong Dialect Background

Diachronically, sentences in different stages of Chinese have the time difference as well as the district difference. But because the document about the district character is not clear, more attention is paid to the timeliness, and the district difference is often ignored. This article examines the “X+VP +CM+Y” structure which appears in Jinping Mei,Xingshi Yinyuan Zhuan and Liaozhai Liqu Ji at Ming and Qing Dynasty, and tries to discover the developing trend and the structure’s characteristics in Shandong dialect. Meanwhile, we can clear up the confusion in understanding “X+VP +CM+Y” sentences.
