The Perfective Aspect Fuctional Words in An’yang Dialect

lao1 (咾1), lao2 (咾2), la1(啦1) , la2 (啦2)and la1+2(啦1+2)in Anyang dialect are all the perfective aspect markers. This paper attempts to describe this characteristics and the splitting of ambiguous sentences in Mandarin, then compare with its surrounding dialects and ancient Chinese. It also tries to probe into the origins and the relationship between An’yang dialect and Min dialect from a typological perspective.
