Force tracking control of electro-hydraulic fatigue testing machine

This paper designs an electro-hydraulic fatigue testing machine with force tracking control method, which is applied to frozen soil frost heave experiment. It acts sine wave and square-wave force whose amplitude and frequency is adjustable on the frozen soil specimen at different temperature to test its mechanics characteristics. This paper models the system, analyzes the influence of force tracking accuracy imposed by structure flexibility and puts forward the control strategy. Experiment results on the system are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method at last.
