Design of a high speed hydraulic cylinder in a hydraulic catapult system

A hydraulic cylinder for high speed hydraulic catapult system is designed in this paper, including its structures, dimensions, and seals。According to the stability theory of compressive rod, we check it and the conclusion indicate that the parameter of the hydraulic cylinder is rational. At last, the hydraulic cylinder is simulated using the special simulation software and the result conforms to our expectation.
