Research on Dynamic Characteristics of a CNG Two-stage Regulator Based on AMESim Software

The stability of regulator's outlet pressure provides the basis for the stable supply of natural gas flow in a diesel natural gas dual fuel engine.According to the structure and working principle of a CNG regulator,a simulation model of each cavity of the regulator is launched by AMESim software.Next,the static characteristic and dynamic characteristics of the regulator are studied.Based on the test platform built,comparative experiments are done to verify the correctness of the simulation model.Finally,the discovery of respective influence of the structural parameters on dynamic characteristics of the regulator provieds the beneficial help on design and optimization for the regulator.
