INTERVAL METHOD FOR SEEKING THE ZEROS OF A COMPLEX FUNCTION

Yao Lin(Department of Mathematics)
A practieal method, which uses second-order interval extension to construct an elementary function in a micro-computer, and its theoretical basis are presented in this paper. In addition, we also give an interval method for seeking all extreme values of an elementary function in a closed interval and seeking all zeros of an elementary complex function on a closed region. Furthermore, we also demonstrate their numerical results.
