Performance and design of space-time trellis codes in keyhole fading channels

In keyhole,some research conclusions gained from Rayleigh channel are not applicable.The authors work on space-time trellis codes(STTC) in keyhole and calculate the channel capacity,formulate a code design criteria.According to the criteria,the optimal STTC in keyhole is obtained.Simulations show that compared with Rayleigh channel,channel capacity and performance decrease obviously in the keyhole and the optimal STTC achieves 1 dB gain over the optimal code in Rayleigh channel.
