Influence of various other flammable gases in coal mine on explosion limits of methane

To study the influence of different combustible gases CO,H2,C2H4 and C2H6in mine fire area on explosion limits of CH4 in air,the degree of explosion danger( F value),the changes of explosion width and F value of two-component mixed combustible gases,experiments were carried out by using the method of test for explosion limits of combustible gases in air. The results show that as combustible gases are added,the methane explosion limits are all widened and the F values become bigger,that addition of C2H4 makes the explosion danger of methane and two-component increase obviously,that when addition is2. 0%,methane F value increases by 540%,and that the effect of CO is minimal.
