Combination Method of Wave Functions to Solve the Problem of Scattering in 2D Elastic Half Space

This paper puts forward a new method which combine the characteristic functions of body waves and surface waves to solve the problem of non-uniform input,which is the displacement of the boundary of the irregular valley topography under the incidence of different kinds of waves in different angles.The method strictly meet the free-surface requirements,and overcome the shortcomings that the existing wave function expansion method cannot express the problem of scattering in two-dimension irregular topography completely.The numerical example shows that the method has the advantages in accuracy,stability,and calculation,which can be applied to the non-uniform input problem of the structure-foundation dynamic interaction.
