Effect of Anti-keratin Auto-antibody From Psorlatic Patients on Cultured Keratinocytes

Wang Gang; LiuYufeng; Liu Yanfang.(Departmeat of dermatology,Naual General Hospital,Beijing)
In order to determine whether the Anti-keratin auto antibody (AK auto Ab) from psoriatic patients affects the proliferation of keratinocytes, we studied itseffect on the cultured keratinocytes. The resultsshowed that the IgG AK auto Ab,like AK McAb,hasan inhibitive effect on the proliferatoon of the culturedkeratinocytes. The inhibition of cell proliferation after48h in cultures occured at IgG concentration of 0. 1~0.5mg/ml, and showed a dose-dependent effect. Thisfinding indicates it is possible that IgG Ak auto Abplaysan important role in the regulation of keratinocyteproliferation and has limiting effect on the progression of psoriasis.
