Translatological Subjectivity,Translatological Dialogue and the Status of Translator's Subjectivity

Gao Ning
From the perspective of genetic linguistics, this paper is concerned with the problems in translatological subjectivity, translatological dialogue and translator's subjectivity. It has pointed out that the research on translatological subjectivity should be conducted along with interpretation and translation practice, and it should be regarded as a dynamic conception. The paper also makes an analysis of the evolutionary process of translatological subjectivity, brings out the different functions of the author, the translator and the reader in translation, and the existence of dimensional and multi-layered translatological dialogues, thereby to re-examine the real connotation of the translator's subjectivity and to offer a clear definition and explanation.
