Studies on the Chemical Constituents of Multiradiate Fleabane (Erigeron multiradiatus)

Zhang Yinjun; Li Liangqiong; Yang Peiquan; et al. (College of Pharmacy, West China University of Medical Sciences, Chengdu 610041)
Twelve compounds were isolated from the alcoholic extract of Erigeron multiradiatus (Wall.)Benth.(Compositae). Seven of them were flavonoids, which were identified, on the basis of physical and chemical properties and spectroscopic analysis, as apigenin (Ⅰ), quercetin (Ⅱ), luteolin (Ⅲ), apigenin-7-O-β-glucoside(Ⅳ), isoquercitrin (Ⅴ), scutellarein-7-O-β-glucoside (Ⅵ) and plantagin (Ⅶ). Compound Ⅴ was isolated from Genus Erigeron while the other six from the species E. multiradiatus for the first time.
