Processes for the extraction and purification of queritrin from leaves of Platycladus orientalis (L.) Franco were explored by the use of homogeneous design. Results showed that the ratio and concentration of ethyl alcohol used for the extraction, as well as the duration of extraction directly affected the yield of quercitrin, while sodium chloride and pH showed only minimum influences.
