Computation of changes of aerodynamic force coefficients and its mechanism analysis under different oscillating conditions in lock-in status are given.Numerical results of aerodynamic force coefficients of a flow about a fixed cylinder are firstly obtained.The variation of the root mean square value of lift coefficient and the mean value of drag coefficient versus amplitude in condition of the specified frequency ratio are then calculated.The mechanism analysis for the variation is displayed via the base pressure coefficient of the cylinder and the vortex formation length.
