A constitutive model is proposed to describe the mechanical behaviour of vibration isolation rubber under vibrations with wide frequency range.The constitutive model comprises two parts: the hyperelastic component to indicate static characteristics of rubber materials and the nonlinear viscoelastic component to describe dynamic responses under vibration and impact loadings.According to the proposed constitutive model,a series of experiments are performed on rubber materials over a wide strain rate range.The experimental data obtained at high and low strain rates are used to determine nine material parameters via a least-square fitting.The results predicted by this model have a good agreement with the experimental data.
