DYNAMIC MODEL OF TWO DISK ROTOR-STATOR RUBBING ACTION

A new comprehensive rotor-stator rubbing model is developed in consideration of both rotor and stator's dynamic characteristics. Based on the assumption that axial rub is aroused by disk's deflection, and considering the rotor's deflection line is a space curve, the angle of deflection denoted by vibration displacement is deduced according to the vector composition principle for tittle angles. Then the distribution of rubbing locations and the governing equations of the system with respect to radial-axial coupling contact of rotor-stator are derived, in which the nonlinear coupling effect of bending and torsion vibration is taken into account. The model can describe the radial rub and axial rub occuring simultaneously or individually. It provides a basic foundation for numerical simulation and further research on the nonlinear vibration characteristics considering coupling effect of bending and torsion vibration during radial-axial contact rub.
