Properties of EPE cushion are investigated through vibration and dropping experiments of a PC host package. It is obtained that the maximum response acceleration of the PC host package is 1.35g under the excitation acceleration of 7.5m/s2 with the constant frequency(4.6Hz). The results of vibration test show that the PC host package is not damaged. In the dropping experiment, the peak values of impact acceleration of the Host are 30.27g in plane dropping, 26.07g in edge dropping, and 25.57g in corner dropping, respectively. The results of dropping indicate that the Host is destroyed. It is lack of packaging.
