Wind-induced response analysis for an extensional large roof

Based on data of wind pressure measurement in wind tunnel test for its rigid model,the wind-induced responses of Shenzhen airport Terminal 3(T3) structurally similar to an extensional large roof were calculated with the CQC method,and then the characteristic of equivalent static wind load distributions was also discussed.The results showed that the aerodynamic interferences among different parts of an extensional large roof are very fierce and complex,they may increase the wind loads on the whole structure,so the displacements not only at the cantilever edge of the roof but also in its middle parts are needed to be paid attention when the structure is designed;the static part of the total wind-induced responses are dominant,however the resonant responses are usually bigger than the background responses in the dynamic response part.All the conclusions could provide some useful references for designing an extensional large roof structurally similar to T3 of Shenzhen airport.
