Characterization of dynamic cushioning property of cushioning material based on high-speed image measurement technology

The dynamic cushioning coefficient of expandable polyethylene material was investigated experimentally,which is a very effective index to characterize the cushioning properties of materials.Based on dynamic compression experiments,the stress-strain curve of the cushioning material was acquired by using high-speed image measurement technology and then the deformation energy per unit volume and dynamic cushioning coefficient of the material were deduced.The result provides an important theoretical basis for cushioning packaging design.
