Effects of subway vibration on a frame structure and its vibration isolation

The vibration caused by subway has a certain effect on multilayer frame structures and high-rise frame structures. Aiming at the vibration isolation issues of a certain teaching building located in Guangzhou City, the environmental vibration of the building site was measured. It was shown that the vertical vibration level of the building site is beyond the limit of codes and higher than the horizontal vibration level; in the dynamic response analysis of the upper structure,the most unfavorable vibration acceleration time history of the building site is taken as a consistent excitation to the upper structure,its vibration response of 3. 15 Hz ~31. 5Hz is amplified,the vertical vibration level of the structure increases layer by layer; the vertical vibration caused by subway reduces by 23% and meets the limit of codes after puting a steel spring floating vibration isolation device on the base of the building.
