Theoretical study on identification of the road stiffness of a rigid pavement

In order to achieve the active vibration control of tanks,armored vehicles and civilian premium cars during driving,the fast calculation of the road stiffness is of the first importance. Based on the Winkler foundation model,the calculation model for a rigid pavement was built according to the elastic foundation plate theory,and a theoretical formula for calculating the road stiffness of the rigid pavement was derived by using the semi-inverse method for the rigid pavement deflection function. The results of the examples show that comparing with the exact solution,the error of the theoretical formulas derived is smaller than that of other formula in literatures,and this theoretical formula has higher accuracy.
