ELASTIC-PLASTIC DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF A CIRCULAR PLATE WITH LARGE DEFLECTION UNDER IMPULSE LOADING

In this paper, the elastic-plastic dynamic response of a circular plate with large deflection is analyzed by using known elastic solution. The eigenfunction method is presented for solving our problem. It is a further development for the references [3,4]. In addition, in the referen ces [3,4], the mixed method based on barman's equation is employed for the analysis of large deflection problem, but in this paper, we employ the displacement method which has the advantage for the analysis.
