Experimental study of loaded reinforced concrete beams exposed to high heat due to a fire

In this paper, the behaviour of loaded beam, the ultimate load, the crack and the deformation are studied through the tests of loaded reinforced concrete beams exposed to high heat due to a fire. It is shown that the main factor that affacts the mechanical behaviour of reinforced concrete beams is the temperature. When the temperature of the heated concrete exceeds 600℃, there will be a remarkable reduction of the load-bearing capacity.
