Hybrid method of image source model and diffuse surface integration for the simulation of room sound field

A new computer simulation method considering diffuse reflection on room surfaces-hybrid method of image source model and diffuse surface integration is present. This method handled the complicated diffuse reflection phenomenon with Energy Conversation Law, thus the diffuse sound field can be calculated more precisely and easily. An agreement between the computer simulation results and measurements shows the accuracy of the mathematical and physical model and the applicability of the computer simulation methods. This model can be used to noise control engineering, as well as to the practice of acoustical design.
