Dynamic instability of magnetoelastic coupling interactions of cantilever conductive thin plates

For application to cantilever conductive thin plate in fusion reactor under the interaction of externally lateral strong impulsive and in-plane uniform magnetic field,a theoretical model for describing the dynamic behavior under the condition of the coupling mechanics-electricity-magnetism interactions was established.The numerical solution steps of algorithm routine were given with the finite element method for the spatial part,the Crank-Nicolson method for the time part of the eddy current,the Newmark method for the conductive thin plate,and iterative method for the coupling non-linearity at each time step.The influences of strong impulsive magnetic field and in-plane uniform magnetic field on magnetic volume forces and the deformation of thin plates were quantitatively simulated.The numerical results indicate that the structure loses stability easily under the interaction of externally lateral strong impulsive and in-plane uniform magnetic field.The lateral critical magnetic field value decreases with the increase of in-plane uniform magnetic field,but reduces with the decrease of the impulse parameter when the dynamic instability of the conductive thin plate appears.
