Viscoelastic analysis of asphalt pavement with reflective cracks and subjected to dynamic loading

In order to obtain the working conditions of asphalt concrete pavement with reflective crack,dynamic viscolinear mechanics and fracture mechanics theory,were used for numerical simulation of asphalt concrete pavement under single period vehicle Looding by plane strain FEM using ABAQUS software.The discipline of dynamic stress intensity factor(DSIF) was obtained when the temperature field,loading period of the vehicle and damping ratios of the pavement were changing.The results showed that the maximum DSIF decreased with increase of vehicle velocity,that the DSIF decreases by 21.6% when vehicle velocity changed from 40 km/h to 120 km/h.The distributions of DSIF with time under different pavement temperature field are similar,and the maximum DSIF decreased with increasing temperature.The maximum DSIF was about 12% when the temperature increased from-20 ℃ to 15 ℃.The curve of DSIF varying with time is put forward with damping ratios increasing,and the time corresponding to the maximum DSIF was delayed.The maximum DSIF decreases by 29.6% when the damping ratio increased from 0 to 0.2.
