Parallel multi-inverter with instantaneous current-sharing control scheme

A general small-signal model was proposed to generate multi-inverter parallel system with instantaneous current-sharing control schemes,including maximum-current-control solution,average-current-control solution,circular-chain-control(3C) solution and weight-current-control solution.Then the current-sharing loop stability with identical and non-identical parameters can be analyzed easily.The impedance characteristics of the multi-inverter parallel system were studied.The effect of the current-sharing controller parameters and the number of inverters was investigated.Experimental results of two-inverter parallel system with 220 V output and 1 kW load verified the effectiveness of the model.
