Application of air staging combined with SNCR on 300MW boiler

The combined air staging and selective non-catalytic reduction(SNCR)technology was applied to a 300MW boiler.Data about the NOx emissions were obtained.The influence of different nozzle combinations and the positions of nozzles on the NOx reduction was analyzed.Experimental results showed that the NOx emission was only 186mg/m3,the joint DeNOx efficiency was 75.2%and the own DeNOx efficiency of the SNCR system was 46.8%.Reducing agent sprayed from the long nozzles and short nozzles were applied simultaneously and the reducing agent was injected into the furnace where the temperature ranged from 950℃to 1 100℃.A high DeNOx efficiency was obtained and the amount of NH3 slip was low.The application of SNCR system had little impact on carbon mass fraction in fly ash and slag,but the temperature of the flue gas increased by 3.5℃,resulting in the loss of boiler efficiency by 0.15%.
