Cultural Method Discussion of Comprehensive Thinking Ability of Clinical Internship

Objective To explore how to improve learning initiative and decision-making ability of clinical internship and improve the existing clinical teaching mode.Methods 199 clinical internships from Beijing medical university from 2006 to 2009 were divided into two groups(A B) randomly with different teaching methods.Group A was taught by traditional methods,and group B reported what they have done after collect cases.Their attendance,performance and questions answering were recorded.Results We can get the conclusion from the data analysis by SPSS chi-square test that group B has more learning initiative and class attendance than group A.Group B is more effective in cultivating actual comprehensive ability from class feedback information.Conclusion The teaching method of group B is good for students in learning initiative.It can improve clinical thought decision-making ability,and can combine basic knowledge with the clinical practice.
