Death Risk Factors Analysis on the Elderly Patients of Cerebral Infarction

Zhang Chunyan;
Objectives To analyze the death risk factors of elderly patients with cerebral infarction within the hospital.Methods There were 1545 cases elderly patients diagnosed as cerebral infarction from 2008 to 2011 in a hospital.To discharge(living/dead) as the dependent variable,and discharge with gender,age,year and various complications as independent variables,and then conduct multiple logistic regression analysis.Results The merger of Pulmonary infection(x~2= 62.527,P0.0001),the merger of pneumonia(x~2= 59.047,P0.0001),the merger of acute myocardial infarction(x~2= 21.529,P0.0001),the merger of atrial fibrillation(x~2= 8.814,P=0.003),the merger of chronic rheumatic heart disease(x~2= 6.381,P= 0.012) were statistically significant in elderly patients with cerebral infarction death.Gender,age,year of discharge impact and other complications were not statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusions The merger of pulmonary infection,the merger of pneumonia,the merger of acute myocardial infarction,the merger of atrial fibrillation and the merger of chronic rheumatic heart disease in elderly patients with cerebral infarction were the risk factors for death.Therefore,for such patients,we should closely monitor,make early diagnosis,early treatment,so as to reduce the hospital mortality of patients with cerebral infarction.
