Recomments of Electron Beam Flue Gas Desulfurization Technology

This paper reevaluates the electron beam flue gas desulfurizationEB-FGDtechnology through the investigation on the operating situations of demonstration project of electron beam flue gas desulfurization in Chengdu Power Plant.The improvementmaintenance and operation of the demonstration project for more than two years show thatthe design of technological parameters for the project if rationalthe operation of key equipment such as large power electron acceleratoretc.is reliablethe system and equipment are being perfected day by daythe simultaneous operation time EB-FGD with generating unit is continuously increasingthe technological process is further optimizedthe management is being constantly improvedthe qualities of ammoniun sulfate by-product are stable and the supply is not adequate to the demandand the cost of de-SO2 is further reduced.All of the above-mentioned provide valuable experiences and reliable basis for quality engineering design of EB-FGD and strengthen its competitive superiority in the FGD market.
