Slagging Prevention Technique Used in Shouyangshan Thermal Power Plant

:A bluff-body burner with slittings is used to solve the slagging problem arising in the boiler furnace. At high load of boiler,a part of boundary air flows into the recirculating zone of bluff-body,delaying the ignition of pulverized coal so as to prevent slagging formed; while at lower load of boiler,a small amount of primary air passes through the slittings of bluff-body and flows into the recirculating zone,enhancing the flame stability. Presently,this technique has been successfully operated in Shouyangshan Thermal Power Plant. The slgging on the furnace tubes has been entirely eliminated. At 45% load of boiler, flame stability of pulverized coal is improved without oil aid,and boiler efficiency is increased by 2%.
