Fault Analysis and Prevention of Thermal Control Devices on Large Fossilfired Generating Units

The failures and first category faults occurring on the thermal control devices of 200 MW and above fossilfired generating units in power plants directly under the Ministry of Electric Power in 1995 and 1996 were summed up and analyzed.The preventive measures and proposals on the faults of thermal control devices are put forward and the role of advancement and development of thermal power automation in promoting reliable operation of power plants are indicated in this article.
