Study of the behavior analysis and model test of bridge piles under simultaneous axial and lateral loading

ZHAO Ming hua,WU Ming,GUO Yu rong (School of Civil Engineering, Hunan University, Changsha 410082, China)  
Based on the synthetical studying,an analysis to bridge piles under simultaneous axial and lateral loading is advanced by the finite element finite layer method in which the layered transversely isotropic and elastic half space soil model is applied and the influence of P Δ effect on internal force of piles is considered,and the model tests are discussed also in this paper.
