Uncertainty evaluation on the energy method of vehicle traffic accident reconstruction

According to the characteristic of the vehicle velocity analysis on traffic accidents,the velocity calculating model by energy conservation method is mentioned.The uncertainty theory is used to establish the uncertainty evaluation algorithm of the estimated vehicle velocity.From the factors involved an accident,a factor is selected as the uncertain factor with the most uncertain information.Through the uncertain factor,the standard uncertainty of each equivalent velocity is evaluated.Then these uncertainties are accumulated and propagated to obtain the combined standard uncertainty of the vehicle velocity result.So the credibility of the accident reconstruction can be perceived by this way.A particular example is provided to test the method.
