Calculation and Influencing Factors Analysis of Ultimate Bearing Capacity of T-shaped Perforated Rib Connector

To study the ultimate bearing capacity of the T-shaped perforated rib connector and its influencing factors,15 groups of different T-shaped perforated rib connectors,a total of 45 specimens,were designed and fabricated to explore the ultimate bearing capacity and the failure modes.The different influencing factors for the ultimate bearing capacity and failure modes of T-shaped perforated rib connector were analyzed.Based on the experimental results,the calculation formula for ultimate bearing capacity of the connectors was established.The results show that the T-shaped perforated rib connector is of high bearing capacity and excellent ductility;the web thickness,diameter of hole in the web and concrete strength affect the bearing capacity of T-shaped perforated rib connector obviously,while the web height,number of flanges,diameter of reinforcement bar and flange length have slight effect.This study can provide basic data for designing and application of the T-shaped perforated rib connectors.
