Study on Injecting-Optimization of Iron Powders in Magnetic Field and Friction Clamping of NRH Honeycomb

With regard to the low efficiency of iron powder injection in magnetic field and friction clamping of NRH honeycomb, an injecting-optimization was presented. In this optimization, finite element method was used to analyze the mechanics properties of honeycomb. As a result, the maximal hexagon circumcircle diameter of region segmentation and nodal reactive forces of region boundary were deduced. Then the relationships between friction force and height and lattice quantity of iron powder injection were concluded from the experimental results. Consequently, the height and lattice quantity were confirmed. Using the optimization, 70% lattices, which should be injected previously, are reduced and injecting efficiency is improved.
